The World Looks More Beautiful Thru Tinted Glasses

It’s gotta be the shades. Honestly, when have you ever seen fashion extraordinare designer Karl Lagerfeld WITHOUT his dark shades? [ moment of silence ] That’s right you never have, lol. It’s pretty much become his trademark. “Dark glasses are like portable eye shadow and the world looks more beautiful through tinted glasses. Everybody looks 10 years younger,” states Karl Lagerfeld. “That is why I wear dark glasses always.”

It was leaked back in the Summer months that Mr. Lagerfeld would be launching his own collection of men’s & women’s eyewear in partnership Marchon Eyewear, one of the most prominent eyewear companies around. Well, the wait is over kiddies! January of 2008 will be the launch of the first collection from Lagerfeld with his sunwear collection. The new collection has been developed in collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld and the design duo Christian Roth and Eric Domege. The second collection will consist of optical eyewear in the Spring. I expect nothing but perfection from each collection! Kinda makes me want to wear glasses again. Just so I can tell people, Yeah I’m wearing my Lagerfeld’s honey, lol.
