Pure Artistry: Naja Conrad-Hansen

As 2009 draws to a close, I’ve been thinking endlessly about new ways to keep Fashion For Breakfast fresh and interesting to read for the new year. My personal interests change on a constant basis and I like to incorporate that same mindset into the site. As of late, I’ve been much more in tune with fashion illustration and unique paintings. I am pleased to introduce a new feature on the site simply titled, Pure Artistry. For now it will cover fashion illustrators but in the upcoming weeks and months I will expand to fashion photographers and fashion make-up artists as they also deserve to be highlighted for their artistry. I hope you are inspired by these features. The first entry of this series is a Denmark based illustrator/designer/painter that I came across in my web browsing. Her name is Naja Conrad-Hansen. Her work is beyond mesmerizing and she describes her illustration style as, “finding some untouched areas of the mind and stimulating the eye and imagination“.
