Top Shop To Launch Cosmetics Line
(Top Shop Core Line)
Everyone’s favorite store is launching it’s own cosmetics line. In May, the full lineup is slated to launch in Topshop’s top 30 doors, including its U.S. outpost, and on the retailer’s Web site. The core collection is 97 stockkeeping units strong and is designed to mix whimsical design with bold color. Pencil-like doodles decorate putty-colored packaging and the black outer carton features an illustration of the product inside, designed by Sarah Thorne, Topshop graphic
and packaging designer. “It’s playful, almost like the Topshop girl drew it herself,” said Lizzie Dawson, a Topshop designer who led the line’s in-house development. Topshop tapped Intercos to manufacture the products. Topshop plans to augment the core line four to six times a year with the trend range, a collection of about 16 items, that Homer described as, “more adventurous.”

Since Winter Isn’t Going Anywhere…
I thought I’d let you guys in on a beauty tip of mine. And it’ll cost you less than 10 bucks for almost a 4 month supply! You ready? …. VITAMIN E OIL! I kid you not! The stuff you see in CVS, Rite Aid, and Walgreens across the country can be used to help keep your beautiful faces, well, beautiful!
Vitamin E oil can be combined with other ingredients, or used alone, as an intense moisturizer. It hydrates the skin and keeps it healthy, and thus more able to repair itself. This can help with the healing of scars, burns and stretch marks. You can rub Vitamin E oil into your skin directly, soak in a bathtub with a little of the oil, use it as a massage oil or mix it into your moisturizer.
A little trick with this is less is more! Seriously, you don’t want to turn your skin oily, you just want to give it a little extra something. Although I haven’t heard of any bad reactions, if you plan to use Vitamin E oil on the skin, you should test it first on the inside of the forearm to make sure you won’t react badly.
AND drugstore.com is having a buy one get one free on Vitamin E oil, so check that out here.

Bloom Lip Gloss: Review
I was lucky enough to review 2 lip glosses to review, and let me just say I love them! They aren’t sticky like other lip glosses, and they kind of act as a chapstick, the natural oils in them really do a good thing for your lips, unlike other lip glosses that make your chapped lips look worse! And they come in these really pretty sheer colors. When I first opened them out of the box (I received Raspberry and Tangerine) my mom was like “Ew I would never wear those awful bright colors”. So I made her try the Raspberry and the color was very sheer and pretty on her. She ended up stealing my lip gloss! Needless to say these colors are very age neutral. But I definitely recommend these for the winter time especially, I know I won’t be without my Tangerine Bloom Lip Gloss any time soon!
A little fun fact: Not only am I a fan of this amazing product, but so is Whitney Port from MTV’s “The City”!
