Unless you were under a rock or away from the television and/or internet yesterday, then I’m sure by now you’ve had more than your fill of Royal Wedding coverage. I’ll be honest — I didn’t tune into any of the William & Kate specials or any of the news coverage yesterday. Today was my first time looking at any wedding photos. I just couldn’t get into all the hype. Sue me. However, I will say that the bride looked c’est magnifique in Alexander McQueen! Kudos Sarah Burton. The lace overlay, plunging V-neck and elegant train was all a win for me on Kate’s Dress. I also have to acknowledge the fashionable guests in attendance. A few of my standouts were:  Victoria Beckham, Princess Beatrice, Chelsy Davy, Carole Middleton, Samantha Cameron and Princess Letizia of Spain – just to name a few. In true British style, almost all of the woman attendees sported some type of chic headpiece decoration both modest and over the top, of course. Philip Treacy sure was the man of the hour. I loved it all.

Yes, the rumors are true! I hope you guys are as ecstatic as I am that Blake Lively — one of the stars of the hit TV show ‘Gossip Girl’ is the new face of Chanel’s Mademoiselle handbag line!  Great, isn’t it? I love her! As an addict to ‘Gossip Girl’, I am happy that Blake is spreading her wings in the high couture fashion world! I almost forgot the campaign will be photographed by Karl Lagerfeld himself! Can you believe it? What has me still is in a state of shock is mega editor-in-chief Anna Wintour introduced the two! Is Blake Lively living the dream or what?
