Dannijo Fall/Winter 2011 Accessories Collection Presentation

Hey lovelies! How are you? As you know New York Fashion Week is well under way and I’m still trying to a) wrap my mind around the fact that attending shows at Lincoln Center b) figure out how to keep up with all the madness without going insane, lol. I’ve been handling it well if I must say. Lincoln Center is gorgeous! I love it there. The tents are indescribable. At any rate, we kicked off NYFW with the Dannijo F/W 2011 presentation. Designers, Danielle and Jodie Snyder really impressed us with a beautiful collection of jewelry filled with rustic style glamour. Fitting into their Wild West frontier & Roaring 20′s inspiration, models were stationed all over the venue in a log cabin installation wearing statement necklaces, cuffs and earrings delicately shaped in bold silhouettes and shapes fused with metal, stone and crystallized details. Each piece was truly a work of art in it’s own right — leaving you in awe to just admire the exquisite detail and beauty. I have to say this was certainly one of my favorite collections from DANNIJO to date.

The Spring 2011 Handbag Collection by bebe features trend-driven silhouettes and colors inspired by looks from the 1970s. Woven fabrics, snakeskins, ikat prints, studded hardware and chains compose the collection’s assortment of oversized totes, sleek clutches, cool mini-cross bodies and classic satchels.

Offered in rich cognacs, yellows and blues, or neutral blacks, whites and grays, each handbag is accented with signature bebe hardware. The collection retails from $58-$148 and will be sold at Dillard’s stores and Dillards.com from February through April 2011.

Rebecca Minkoff Fall 2010 Video Lookbook — Impatiently waiting for fall to get here.

Hey lovelies! How are ya? Sorry for the lack of posting there for the past few weeks but I have been enjoying the summer as much as I can before it’s over. It’ll be September before you know it (back to reality) and that will mean back to school and NY Fashion Week madness! At any rate, summer has been brutal so far with extreme humidity and triple digit temperatures which can often bring about bad hair days.  For me, summertime means low-key and low maintenance hairstyles — or if I feel like getting fancy I will grab a hat out of my closet. My absolute favorite style is the fedora. Fedoras are no stranger to the summer style set but they have been showing up everywhere! I love the versatility of the fedora as it can easily be dressed either up or down or anywhere in between. Check out a few of my picks to recreate this look in your own wardrobe..
