After painfully viewing fashion’s favorite, Alexander Wang’s S/S 2011 collection last September, I was afraid that he was headed in a bad direction that he wouldn’t be able to recover from. [Note: I honestly still think that collection definitely had mental asylum written all over it]. Luckily, Wang proved me and the rest of the world wrong as he presented his beautiful F/W 2011 collection at Milk Studios in NYC. This was the Alexander Wang that I had begun to fall in love with — he was back. Of course, in true Wang fashion, the fall collection was full of wearable sportswear with a hint of luxe. I lusted over the oversized ponchos and capes as well as the fur collar jackets and coats.
