The new Fall/Winter line for Mango (run by Penelope and Monica Cruz) has arrived and it’s being exclusively presented first by cult favorite, ASOS.  The label’s new line has a lot of staples that can easily shift into your wardrobe in the upcoming months. This fall its all about the Color, Texture, Cultural influences. This fall Donna Karan, Nicholas Kirkwood, and Louis Vuitton had the most amazing and opulent accessories on the runway. (the necklace are above Louis Vuitton & Nina Richie’s Iridescent metal and crystal necklace with black feather detail.)

This season, Donna Karan knocked me out of the park with her amazing foot wear this fall. Her shoes had every detail appropriate for exquisite fall pieces. The shoes above were some of my favorites. I love the deep violet suede bootie with the zipper detail. I though that was genius. And the red croc bootie was beautiful. I can see young stars like Rihanna and Zoe Kravitz wearing these booties.

Lastly, Nicholas Kirkwood was definitely on trend with his fall shoe line. The collection is filled with jewel tones, snake skin, texture, and print. I love how he always has that special architectural touch to his shoe designs.

I’m rather late looking at runway photos from this season’s Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, but I was certainly not disappointed. There is an abundant amount of talent down under.  I’ll be sharing some of my favorite collections for the rest of the week.. The first designer that caught my eye was Nicola Finetti. The collection speaks for itself – but I loved the detailing and the  construction of each piece. There was definitely a mix of dramatic and subtlety that still managed to work together cohesively. The pops of color were the perfect touch as well.  Loves it!

Designer Michael Kors presented his more affordable priced Michael Michael Kors line in a small, intimate presentation last night in New York City. He paired the new collection with his Kors accessories, shoes and outerwear. For the Fall ‘09 RTW collection Michael Kors kept things simple yet chic with an array of animal prints, mod like stripes,  camouflage and belted trenches and leather jackets.
