A couple weeks ago I posted the preview for Sonia Rykiel’s knitwear collection for H&M. This week we’re presented with more images to lust over from the official ad campaign for the exclusive collection. I am honestly falling in love with each piece that is revealed. I’m saving my coins now for next month! Hopefully I can score a piece or two — especially the red and blush colored knit dresses which are amazing! [featured in the last image] Do you love?

H&M found itself in the fashion news roundup twice this week.  Negative news — Reports came out that they trash unsold merchandise [read the updated story via fashion week daily] causing quite an uproar with fans of the retailer and the like. But, H&M quickly abolished  those accusations stating the merchandise that the NY Times discovered was already damaged and unable to be sold. Aha! Case closed?

Now onto on the positive and more fashionable side of things, H&M still managed to muster quite the buzz surrounding their new ‘Garden Collection’ — get this, made of recycled and organic materials. Oh, the irony..it’s too much! Nevertheless, the spring collection is simply divine and it lives up to its inspiration. Can I please have one of every dress? Especially the red rosette mini dress — which seems to be a popular favorite thus far! What are you thoughts darlings? Do you love?

The ever so lovely Sonia Rykiel is gearing up for her second collection for retailer H&M. Taking a turn from the dainty lingerie from the first collection, Sonia will release a chic knitwear collection for us to lust over. The exclusive knitwear collection is composed mostly of boldly colored striped sweaters [both fitted and oversized] as well as mini skirts, shorts and dresses. The collection will enter stores on February 20, 2010. Are you excited?

H&M never disappoints me when it comes to their new look books. Their new spring 2010 look book is with no exception. The clothing is divine and clearly all about construction – draping, ruching and cinching! Loving that gray blazer. The accessories are equally amazing — the wooden earrings and necklace, I need those in my life – pronto! What do you think lovies? Do you love what you see?

The reality of the Jimmy Choo for H&M collaboration is slowly coming into existence as the days go by.  I have been lusting over all of the shoes and accessories! I want it all. I am so ready for summer to come to an end.  Sure I’ll miss all of the gems of summer: the cookouts, beaches & ocean breezes, random roadtrips, ice cream trucks, and muggy nights – I’m just anxious to compile my Fall/Winter wardrobe. It’s my favorite season. One of my coveted retailers H&M has an amazing collection for their Winter “Party” collection. It’s all about details, details, details for Fall. The collection is adorned with edgy exposed zippers, sparkling sequins, perfectly placed studs, and romantic ruffles. I’m in love, seriously.
